Recently, donations from various sectors across the country have been pouring in to support Yeongdeok-gun, which suffered significant damage due to a wildfire that broke out in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk.

Currently, the wildfire recovery donations received by Yeongdeok-gun amount to a total of 16,284 cases and approximately 5.40384 billion KRW, consisting of 1,289 general donations totaling about 3.77667 billion KRW and 14,879 Hometown Love donations totaling about 1.61084 billion KRW.

On the 15th, the 33rd alumni group of Changsu Elementary School donated 6.6 million KRW, while the People Power Party Central Committee's Public Communication Division, Gyeongbuk Nongyakjongmyo, and Taeseong General Technology each donated 5 million KRW. Yeongdeok Bus contributed 3 million KRW, Ganggu 4-ri Youth Association gave 2 million KRW, and both the Yeongdeok Model Drivers Association and the Rural New Vitality Plus 3rd Action Group "Yeongalsa" each donated 1 million KRW to Yeongdeok-gun.

In addition, more than 4,000 volunteers have stepped forward to help with wildfire recovery and victim support in Yeongdeok-gun, bringing hope to the local community facing hardship.
