"Daily Fee Savings of 225 Million KRW"
Hana Card announced on the 16th that it has reached 1,000 days since the launch of Travelog.
Hana Card first introduced Travelog on July 18, 2022. It has now surpassed 8 million subscribers and has held the number one position in overseas check card market share for 27 consecutive months.
Travelog offers benefits such as free exchange for 58 currencies, no overseas usage fees, and no overseas ATM withdrawal fees.
Since the launch of Travelog, customers have saved approximately 225.1 billion KRW, including 126.8 billion KRW in exchange fees through free currency exchange, 63.6 billion KRW in waived overseas usage fees, and 34.7 billion KRW in overseas ATM withdrawal fees. This amounts to about 225.1 million KRW saved daily in fees.
Hana Card has continuously improved the service since the launch of Travelog.
At all Hana Bank branches, Travel Cards from three overseas brands?Mastercard, Visa, and UnionPay?are issued immediately upon application. They also launched the 'KakaoPay Travelog Check Card' in partnership with KakaoPay.
They provided free currency exchange services for all currencies and introduced an automatic recharge service that exchanges currency at the desired target rate.
They also introduced services such as 'Open Banking' that allows customers to use their main banks like Toss Bank, Kakao Bank, Shinhan Bank, and KB Kookmin Bank as is, and 'free foreign currency remittance' between Travelog customers.
To celebrate the 1,000-day anniversary of Travelog, Hana Card is holding the 'Cheoniljang - Show Off Your Writing Skills' event until the 10th of next month.
Among participants, one grand prize winner will receive 1 million Hana Money as travel support funds, two excellence award winners will receive 300,000 Hana Money each, and four merit award winners will receive 100,000 Hana Money each. All participants will receive 500 Hana Money.
For every time the Cheoniljang event is shared via KakaoTalk, participants will receive 10 Hana Money (up to a maximum of 50,000 Hana Money).
