Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 16th that it has established the 'Meister Club' for senior outstanding PBs and the 'Best of Best Branch Manager' system.
The Meister Club is a system designed to actively utilize the rich experience and know-how of senior personnel. Among senior PBs subject to the wage peak system transition, those who are comprehensively evaluated on customer-centric asset management capabilities and performance are selected, and upon selection, they are granted the same working conditions as regular employees.
This time, 6 out of 25 senior PBs were selected. Notably, 3 of them are recipients of the Platinum Award, given to employees within the top 5% in the year-end performance evaluation competition, drawing attention.
The Best of Best Branch Manager system was also established to re-evaluate senior branch managers with long-standing branch operation know-how and excellent leadership without excluding them simply due to age. Previously, when branch managers reached the age of 55 and became subject to the wage peak system, most stepped down from their branch manager positions except those who received awards at the year-end performance evaluation competition. However, with the establishment of this system, veteran branch managers with outstanding past branch operation performance and leadership evaluations can continue to serve as branch managers after screening. This time, 6 out of 73 branch managers were selected as Best of Best Branch Managers.
Shinhan Investment Corp. analyzed that the establishment of this system sends a positive message in terms of maximizing organizational capabilities. Furthermore, by creating an environment where the long experience and know-how of senior employees can be passed on, it is expected to provide professional growth opportunities and motivation not only for senior employees but also for junior staff.
Jung Yong-wook, Head of Asset Management at Shinhan Investment Corp., said, "We pursue organizational growth by valuing the experience and abilities of senior employees without fixating only on youth," adding, "We will continue to establish environments and systems where employees can fully demonstrate their capabilities, always prioritizing customer-centric values."
