Daishin Securities Conducts 'Alternative Exchange Education' for Senior Customers

Daishin Securities is embarking on ESG management by supporting digitally vulnerable groups amid the rapidly changing financial environment.


Daishin Securities announced on the 16th that it will conduct offline training on how to use the alternative exchange to bridge the financial gap for senior customers.


This training will explain the new concepts and stock trading methods changed by the launch of the alternative exchange, teaching the basics of understanding and usage. Starting on the 17th at Daishin Securities Financial Support Center located in Gasan Digital Complex, Seoul, it will be expanded to branches nationwide.

The training will be led directly by staff from Daishin Securities Financial Support Center. They will guide participants on the purpose and concept of the alternative exchange system as well as how to use the Daishin Securities mobile app. In particular, the training will focus on key changes such as extended trading hours, the introduction of new order types, and modified order methods.


Using the textbook "Basic Usage of Daishin Securities Mobile App," the program is designed so that participants can easily follow various screens and trading procedures on their own. Additionally, education on financial security and voice phishing prevention will be provided, including instructions on installing spam blocking apps and examples of smartphone security incidents.


Park Seong-hyun, head of Daishin Securities Financial Support Center, said, "We have prepared customized training services so that senior customers unfamiliar with changes in the financial environment do not experience confusion due to the introduction of the alternative exchange." He added, "We will continue to support our customers to use rapidly changing digital finance conveniently and safely."
