Booth Open at Daejeon Expo Citizens Plaza Until the 20th
'Playground of Food Care' Offers Interactive Programs
Samyang Round Square announced on the 16th that it will participate in the domestic science event '2025 Korea Science and Technology Festival' and operate an experiential booth themed on food care.
The 'Korea Science and Technology Festival' is held in Daejeon, Chungnam, for five days until the 20th under the theme 'The Engine of Science and Technology, Awakening Inner Curiosity.' At this event, Samyang Round Square will operate a booth where visitors can experience food care under the concept of 'Playground of Food Care.' The booth is prepared in collaboration with the global art company 'Aksu' and the science and engineering content startup 'Geekble' to provide an immersive food care experience.
At the booth, in addition to general exhibition viewing, experiential content will be offered to visitors who register on-site. Visitors wear RFID bracelets and vests and participate in six games planned around the theme of food care. Programs include 'Healthy Burger Challenge,' an arcade game where players make plant-based meat hamburgers using a joystick; 'Bio Data Air Seesaw,' where players move their bodies left and right to earn points; and 'Calorie Rowing Machine,' a Round Square Prize contest entry by Geekble.
Samyang Round Square plans to offer various prizes such as 3D-printed desserts, Samyang Foods snacks, and special goods to visitors and general attendees.
Additionally, the event will promote the 'Round Square Prize' contest, co-hosted with the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity. The contest invites middle and high school students nationwide to submit various food tech experimental ideas. Applications will open next month, with the finals held in October.
A representative of Samyang Round Square said, "We planned this event under the concept of a scientific playground that uniquely embodies food care in the Samyang Round Square style, so that children can enjoy playing based on diverse imaginations."
