Guro-gu (Mayor Jang In-hong) announced that it has relocated one insect repellent sprayer and completed the installation of five additional sprayers along streams and parks to ensure safe and pleasant outdoor activities for residents.

With the summer season approaching and the risk of mosquito- and tick-borne infectious diseases expected to increase due to outdoor activities such as walking and exercising, as well as climate change, the district installed additional insect repellent sprayers in locations easily accessible to many residents.

The installation sites include △ Deokui Neighborhood Park △ Samgak Children's Park △ Entrance to the circulation path of Cheonwangsan and Sungkonghoe University △ Guro-ri Children's Park △ Mirae Sarang Children's Park △ Sindorim Dorimcheon embankment path, totaling six locations.
