The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is promoting regional education cooperation based on the Gyeonggi Shared School system with 31 cities, counties, and education support offices within the province to expand customized local education collaboration and strengthen on-site support.
The Office of Education announced on the 16th that starting with Yongin City Hall on the 8th and Uiwang City Hall on the 14th, it will sequentially share the direction of regional education cooperation projects, build consensus, and strengthen an organic cooperation system until the end of May.
The main consultation projects include ▲Gyeonggi Shared School ▲Neulbom Shared School ▲Future Education Cooperation District ▲Education Expense Subsidy Projects.
The Office of Education plans to establish a close cooperation system with local governments to expand and sustain regional education cooperation projects, reflect local demands related to Gyeonggi Shared Schools, and jointly resolve difficulties in the policy implementation process.
An official from the Office of Education stated, "To nurture 'glocal' talents in the region and strengthen autonomous capabilities, we will enhance on-site support through close communication and collaboration with local governments."
