Ungsang Branch Office of Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, announced that due to the impact of the early presidential election in June, the Yangsan Ungsang Hoeya Festival and the Yangsan Cheonseongsan Azalea Festival, which were originally scheduled to be held in May, have been postponed to June.

The Yangsan Cheonseongsan Azalea Festival, initially planned for May 4, has been rescheduled to June 7. The Yangsan Ungsang Hoeya Festival, which was to be held from May 31 to June 1, will now take place over two days on June 7 and 8.

Additionally, due to the prolonged restriction of mountain access caused by wildfires, this year's Cheonseongsan Azalea Festival will be relocated to the Baekdonggyo riverside area of Hoeya River. The festival will also feature a singing contest with 10 teams that have passed the preliminary round of the Cheonseongsan Azalea Singing Contest, as well as a children's drawing competition.

Oh Sangho, head of the Ungsang Branch Office, said, "As the early presidential election is being held, we ask for your understanding that the festival, which gathers large crowds, has been postponed due to concerns over possible violations of election laws. We will do our best to thoroughly prepare for the event so that many citizens can attend and enjoy a successful festival."
