On the 15th, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated, "Malicious posts, comments, and false information targeting Kim Soo-hyun are being indiscriminately posted and spread online," adding, "On the 14th, we submitted a complaint to the investigative authorities against the authors for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act and insult under the Criminal Act."

They continued, "We plan to continue filing additional lawsuits against malicious posts that damage the artist's reputation, and we will do our best to protect the artist's rights through strong legal measures against clear criminal acts."

Kim Soo-hyun is suspected of having dated the late actress Kim Sae-ron, who was a minor at the time, for several years. According to the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute (Gaseyeon),' Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family claims that the deceased dated Kim Soo-hyun for six years starting from when she was 15 years old.

Kim Soo-hyun admitted to dating Kim Sae-ron but denied that their relationship began when she was a minor and has taken legal action. Kim Soo-hyun's side filed a complaint against Kim Sae-ron's bereaved family, who provided private photos of Kim Soo-hyun, and Kim Se-ui, the operator of Gaseyeon who disclosed them, for violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (distribution of images taken by cameras, etc.). Additionally, they filed an additional complaint against Mr. Kim, who demanded the cancellation of the release of the Disney Plus (+) series 'Nokoff,' starring Kim Soo-hyun, on charges of intimidation.
