Global semiconductor company ON Semiconductor announced on the 15th that it has appointed Lee Tae-jong, former CEO of Kiphoundry, as the new CEO of ON Semiconductor Korea.
CEO Lee is a figure who has accumulated over 30 years of experience in various fields including technology development, design services, sales, marketing, and manufacturing operations at semiconductor fabrication plants (fabs), integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), and foundry companies.
CEO Lee stated, "Based on ON Semiconductor's technology and experience, we will pursue growth strategies to ensure that the Bucheon fab continuously maintains competitiveness in the silicon carbide (SiC) market."
