Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 15th that it recently held the '2025 On-site Public Property Practical Training' for public property managers at the City Hall Citizen Hall.

This training was organized to improve practical skills for systematic and efficient management of public property and to strengthen practical capabilities for various cases that occur in the field.


The training was conducted by Kim Baekheon, a senior advisor with extensive field experience who is currently a lecturer for practical training at the Korea Local Finance Association. The main topics included ▲Understanding of public property laws and regulations ▲Public property status surveys and compensation charges ▲Public property management through case studies ▲Q&A sessions, focusing on various cases encountered in the field.


Hong Sunyoung, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, said, "Since public property is a valuable asset of citizens, systematic and efficient management and utilization are necessary," adding, "Through this training, we expect that the responsible public officials will acquire more professional capabilities and ensure responsible asset management."


Meanwhile, Changwon Special City plans to continue to enhance the transparency and efficiency of public property management through ongoing training and support, thereby increasing the value of public property utilization, discovering hidden revenue sources, expanding local fiscal income, and strengthening fiscal soundness.
