Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 15th that Kim Younggi, Chairman of Hanwoori, delivered a vehicle to Hanul Disabled Daycare Center in Gwangsan-gu to support welfare for people with disabilities.
The delivery ceremony was attended by Kim Younggi, Chairman of Hanwoori, Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, and Lee Chuhong, Director of Hanul Disabled Daycare Center.
The delivered vehicle, a Ray, is intended to provide safer and more convenient support for the daily activities of people with disabilities who have difficulty moving. It will be used for various welfare programs such as commuting to and from school, visiting treatment centers, and outdoor activities. It is expected to greatly help expand the independence and social participation opportunities of the users by ensuring stable transportation.
Chairman Kim Younggi said, "I hope this vehicle support will improve the mobility of users at Hanul Disabled Daycare Center and give them opportunities to participate in a wider range of welfare activities," adding, "We will continue to provide support and solidarity to promote community welfare."
Park Heungcheol, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, said, "I would like to thank Chairman Kim Younggi for providing a vehicle for the vulnerable in the community," and added, "I hope this vehicle support will further respect the mobility rights and quality of life of the users."
