Jindo-gun Youth Culture Center Holds Youth Steering Committee Inauguration Ceremony

Composed of 12 Members, Including 3 Male and 9 Female Students

Jindo County, Jeonnam (Governor Kim Heesu) recently announced that it held an inaugural ceremony for the Jindo County Youth Culture Center Youth Steering Committee to operate and support various youth-led activities and to reflect the opinions of young people.

The 1st Youth Steering Committee is composed of a total of 12 members (3 male students, 9 female students), selected through an open recruitment process and school recommendations. The committee aims to provide a platform where youth can participate, express their opinions on the operation of the culture center, and take an active role in its activities.

During the inauguration ceremony, the roles and goals that the Youth Steering Committee will undertake were shared. The committee members recognized the important role they will play in operating the culture center and pledged to actively reflect the opinions of youth in future program planning and operations.

An official from the Jindo County Youth Culture Center stated, "We will support youth so that they can experience and learn social responsibility and build confidence through programs in which they take the lead. We hope that the activities of the Youth Steering Committee will help better reflect the voices of young people."

Meanwhile, the Jindo County Youth Culture Center, which opened in October last year, has established itself as a place that provides various cultural experiences to local youth and offers opportunities for them to freely develop their potential and creativity through activities such as baking and crafts.
