Dong-A University Career Plus Center Holds Freshman Career Camp

About 40 Freshmen Strengthen Career Competencies
Through Experience-Based Programs

The Dong-A University Career Plus Center (Director: Shin Yongtaek) announced on the 15th that it co-hosted the '2025 Freshman Career Camp' with the Career Development Center.

The career camp, which was held over two days at the Homers Hotel in Busan, was attended by about 40 freshmen who had the opportunity to reflect on and design their career paths through various experiential programs.

Dong-A University Career Plus Center is hosting a career camp for new students of the 2025 academic year.

This year's career camp, in particular, moved away from simple lectures and was composed of practice-oriented programs that enabled freshmen to better understand themselves and concretely design their career directions, receiving positive feedback.

Participants visualized their strengths and career goals using LEGO through the 'LEGO Serious Play' activity, and experienced the core competencies and changing job environments sought by modern companies by understanding and analyzing social issues and seeking solutions through the 'B-SDG Solution Idea Generation' activity.

They also had time to develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills by completing a variety of team missions.

Cho Kyupan, Director of the Dong-A University Career Development Center, said, "A university is not just a place to study, but a space to find your own path," and added, "This camp was prepared to help freshmen explore and set their career paths more systematically."

Shin Yongtaek, Director of the Dong-A University Career Plus Center, said, "I hope that through the career camp, freshmen will quickly adapt to university life, gain confidence in their career paths, and develop the strength needed to move toward their goals."

This year, the Dong-A University Career Plus Center (Career Development Center) plans to offer various activities to help students adapt to university life and develop their careers, such as freshman career clubs, career portfolio competitions, and career exploration seminars with professionals.
