Governor Oh was sued in June 2021 for allegedly sexually harassing a female journalist, Ms. A, during a dinner meeting with reporters covering the county office at a restaurant in Uiryeong County.

Subsequently, he filed a counter-suit against Ms. A for false accusation and defamation, claiming she had politically motivated intentions, and Ms. A also countersued Governor Oh for false accusation.
