Woori Bank announced on the 15th that it has advanced its employee work-use 'AI Knowledge Consultation System' by integrating the latest generative AI technologies, 'Agentic RAG' and 'Reasoning.'
'Agentic RAG' is a technology where AI goes beyond simply analyzing user questions; it autonomously sets goals, searches for necessary information, comprehensively understands it, and then generates the optimal answer. 'Reasoning' is an AI technology capable of logically judging questions involving complex conditions or multi-step thinking, recently gaining attention in ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and others.
Woori Bank added these technologies to its existing natural language processing-based work search and consultation system, the 'AI Knowledge Consultation System,' enabling it to provide various work knowledge such as regulations, procedures, and product information accurately and consistently to the sales field. Notably, it utilized internal technical capabilities without relying on external solutions and built the system on its own infrastructure environment rather than external cloud services, thereby enhancing security.
Additionally, the 'AI Knowledge Consultation System' has been applied to Woori Bank's sales support mobile app, allowing employees to easily access work knowledge regardless of time and place. This is expected to help new employees or those with less work experience learn tasks more quickly and save time spent on repetitive inquiries, thereby improving on-site work productivity.
