57 Professional Members Appointed to Sexual Incident Response Team
15 Citizen Investigators for Sexual Rights Designated
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) is operating a Sexual Incident Response Support Team to ensure fair, objective, and professional handling of sexual harassment and sexual violence cases occurring within schools.

The support team consists of 57 professional members specializing in sexual incident response, including lawyers and labor attorneys, and 15 citizen investigators for investigation and counseling on sexual rights. On the 8th, an appointment ceremony and capacity-building training were held for these members at the Office of Education's International Conference Room.
The support team is responsible for investigating sexual harassment and sexual violence cases involving school staff, providing psychological counseling for victims, offering medical and legal consultations, preparing expert opinions, and advising the relevant schools.
Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "The Sexual Incident Response Support Team will contribute to creating a safe and healthy school culture by ensuring fair handling of sexual incidents within schools and providing prompt support for victims." He added, "The city office of education will do its utmost to create safe schools by enhancing gender sensitivity within the educational community and preventing sexual harassment and sexual violence through preventive education and various activities."
