'Intensive Safety Inspection' Conducted Until June 13

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 15th that it will conduct the '2025 Intensive Safety Inspection' for about two months until June 13 to eliminate safety blind spots.

Osan-si Launches Intensive Inspection of Safety Blind Spots

This intensive safety inspection aims to quickly identify potential risk factors in facilities with safety blind spots where disasters and accidents may occur, and to prevent accidents through preemptive measures.

During the inspection period, the city will inspect 60 facilities across 12 types of facilities. The inspection will involve about 20 public officials, 20 private experts, and related organizations.

The city will immediately correct minor safety violations on-site based on the inspection results, and systematically manage issues requiring repair or reinforcement through risk assessment.

To expand citizen participation, the city also operates the 'Resident Inspection Application System.' Any citizen can directly apply for facilities that need inspection through the Safety Report Center.

Lee Gwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, said, "We will conduct thorough inspections to preemptively block potential risk factors and create a safer Osan City."
