Along with the photo, Na said, "In a reality where movies cannot be seen just as movies, many citizens are trembling in fear of 'drum barrel politics,'" adding, "I will correct this abnormal society where one has to risk their life to raise their voice for the truth." She continued, "Don't think that burying one person in a drum barrel will bury the truth as well," and emphasized, "I will never surrender even if I have to go into a drum barrel." Na also stated, "I will protect the Republic of Korea until the end." She included hashtags such as 'Na Kyung-won' and 'Protect Korea Until the End.'

This is interpreted as a metaphor referencing a scene from the 2013 film New World, where a person is put into a drum barrel and threatened, expressing her stance as "I will not surrender even if I have to go into a drum barrel." Some speculate that although Na did not directly mention Lee Jae-myung, the former leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, who is running as a presidential candidate for the Democratic Party, she is indirectly criticizing him.

Earlier, Na, who declared her candidacy for the 21st presidential election, met former President Lee Myung-bak at the Cheonggye Foundation in Seocho-gu on the afternoon of the 14th and said, "I will create a unifying primary election." In response, former President Lee said, "I hope the People Power Party shows a new image through the primary election this time," advising, "Participate actively in the primary, but once the results are out, everyone should accept them, and the others should disperse and take roles such as campaign headquarters chiefs."

Encouraged by former President Lee, Na replied, "I will create a unifying primary election," adding, "Others must also unify and accept the results." Regarding the impeachment of former President Yoon Seok-youl, Na said, "Our party produced two presidents who were impeached," expressing, "More than anything, I felt sorry for not being able to protect the president." She recalled, "When former President Lee was elected, there was the beef candlelight protest," and said, "In the end, it was nothing. No one took responsibility for it." She continued, "Then former Presidents Park Geun-hye and Yoon Seok-youl were also impeached," lamenting, "The process of constantly shaking and impeaching our presidents repeatedly made me think that the Republic of Korea would not be strong." In response, former President Lee encouraged her, saying, "I saw you taking the lead in difficult situations and working hard," and added, "It is a tough job, and you courageously did things that you could not do while worrying about various things."
