Gwangju Transportation Corporation (President Jo Ikmun) announced on the 15th that it recently conducted an emergency response drill at Dosan Station in Gwangsan-gu to improve the ability for swift initial response and accident management in the event of a disaster.

This drill simulated a hazardous material explosion inside the station, and the entire process?from the initial dissemination of the situation to the restoration of damaged facilities and the resumption of normal operations?was carried out realistically to enhance employees' emergency response capabilities.

President Jo Ikmun personally supervised the drill site, checked the duties and roles of each technical field, and strengthened the system of organic communication and cooperation to ensure thorough preparedness for disaster situations.

President Jo stated, "We consistently conduct facility inspections and emergency response drills to prepare for various emergencies," and added, "We will continue to prioritize the safety of citizens and thoroughly prepare for any dangerous situations."
