Buyeo County Operates 'Gukmin Design Group'... Residents Participate in Policy Design

Buyeo-gun, Chungnam Province, announced on the 15th that it has formed a "National Design Group," in which residents directly participate in policy design, and will operate it until June.

The National Design Group consists of nine members, including residents, experts, designers, and public officials, with the goal of improving policies centered on the needs of users. This year's project is "Providing Integrated Guidance Services for Agricultural Subsidy Support Projects."

The county plans to integrate subsidy information scattered across various departments and improve both online and offline guidance systems to enhance residents' access to information and convenience.

County Governor Park Junghyun said, "When residents directly participate in policy-making, voices from the field can be reflected in policies," adding, "We will continue to pursue policies that provide practical benefits."

Meanwhile, last year the county received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award for its "Welfare Tok! Tok! Smart Welfare Information Dream" service.
