Midnight Fire Breaks Out in High School Dormitory

In the middle of the night, a fire broke out in a high school dormitory building on Ganghwa Island, Incheon, causing students to evacuate.

According to the Incheon Fire Headquarters on the 15th, a fire occurred on the 4th floor of a high school dormitory building in Ganghwa-gun at around 10:55 PM the previous day.
As a result, about 200 people, including 188 students staying in the dormitory and school staff, evacuated in a commotion. There were no casualties due to the fire.
The fire authorities deployed about 20 vehicles, including pump trucks and ambulances, and 48 firefighters to extinguish the fire within 32 minutes.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire, which is believed to have started in the electrical distribution room on the 4th floor of the dormitory.
