Naju City Provides Forage Support to Livestock Farms Affected by Wildfires in North Gyeongsang Province

Livestock organizations in Naju, Jeollanam-do have stepped up to support livestock farms affected by wildfires in the Gyeongbuk region by providing roughage, which is feed for animals. This relief effort follows the earlier donation of food supplies worth 30 million won (including nurungji) earlier this month, extending a helping hand of hope to disaster victims.

According to Naju City on the 15th, the Naju branch of the National Korean Beef Association, Naju Livestock Cooperative, and Naju Forage Management Association recently delivered 144 rolls of rice straw bales worth 12 million won to livestock farms in Gyeongbuk.

The support for roughage was carried out through collective efforts to help livestock farms suffering secondary damage due to a shortage of animal feed after large-scale wildfires destroyed their forage supplies.

A representative from the Korean Beef Association branch said, "We hope this contribution will help, even in a small way, with the recovery efforts for livestock farms severely affected by the wildfires."
