As part of the 'Customized Workforce Training Project for Corporate Demand' conducted by the Gimcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in North Gyeongsang Province, a special lecture aimed at strengthening employment capabilities was held for the first group of trainees in the 'Logistics Specialist Training Program.'

This special lecture was delivered by Jung Sangin, Deputy Director of the Win-Win Labor Affairs Office at Korea Electric Power Technology, who provided trainees with valuable insights on practical interview preparation and key aspects necessary for employment.


Recently, Gimcheon City has been emerging as a smart logistics hub due to the attraction of logistics companies such as Coupang and its designation as a Smart Green Logistics Regulation-Free Zone, resulting in a rapid increase in demand for logistics-related jobs. In line with this trend, the entire training program was offered free of charge to unemployed citizens, with the goal of enhancing local employment capabilities.


During the lecture, Deputy Director Jung Sangin shared practical information on real-world interview techniques and resume writing methods necessary for job preparation, based on his extensive experience.


He also focused on boosting trainees' confidence and motivation for employment, presenting solutions to common challenges encountered during the job search process.


Deputy Director Jung emphasized the importance of peace of mind and physical health during his lecture. He highlighted the significance of mental stability and physical well-being through stretching, explaining how a positive mindset and healthy habits can benefit both job preparation and workplace life.


Meanwhile, Korea Electric Power Technology actively works each year to nurture talent to alleviate recruitment difficulties faced by local companies, striving for mutual growth and regional revitalization through cooperation with the local community.
