Andong City Opens '2025 Baeknyeon Gachi Sales Exhibition'

A Project Supporting Small Business Sales Channels for Eight Months
A Diverse Lineup from Local Specialties to Souvenirs

Andong City in North Gyeongsang Province will host the '2025 Centennial Value Sales Exhibition' starting from the 14th on the first floor of the Gyeongbuk New Business Startup Academy to support local small businesses in securing stable sales channels and assist startup companies in entering the market.

Andong City, Gyeongbuk, will hold the 2025 Baeknyeon Gachi Sales Exhibition for small business owners.

This sales exhibition is a regional win-win project organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service, sponsored by Andong City, and hosted by the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Uiduk University.

After confirming its potential last year with sales exceeding 16 million KRW during its inaugural event, this year’s exhibition will be operated in a more long-term and systematic manner.

The event will run for eight months until December, centering on three themed exhibitions tailored to each season.

It will begin with the 'Andong Specialty and Local Products Exhibition' from April to June, followed by the 'Traditional Food and Holiday Gift Special Exhibition' from July to September, and the 'Tourism Souvenir Mini Popup Store' from October to December. New brands and products will be introduced each season.

The participating companies consist of graduates from the Gyeongbuk New Business Startup Academy and over ten outstanding small businesses from the Andong area. On-site, various side programs such as product experiences, discount events, prize draws, and one-day classes will also be held. Outstanding sellers will be selected and awarded at each session.

In addition, online promotions will be strengthened through SNS content creation, live commerce broadcasts, and collaborations with influencers, aiming to expand the competitiveness and brand awareness of local small businesses nationwide.

An official from Andong City stated, "This sales exhibition is a practical support project that lays the foundation for the growth of local small businesses," and added, "It is expected to play a significant role in revitalizing the local economy and fostering the startup ecosystem."
