Gumi Urban Corporation Named 'Top Institution' in Local Public Enterprise Customer Satisfaction for 5 Consecutive Years

Gumi Urban Corporation in North Gyeongsang Province achieved a remarkable feat by scoring 90.5 points in the 2024 Local Public Enterprise Customer Satisfaction Survey, earning the title of 'Best Institution' for the fifth consecutive year.

This survey was conducted by the Local Public Enterprise Evaluation Institute under the supervision of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. It was carried out from July to October 2024, targeting 384 local public enterprises nationwide through telephone and face-to-face interviews.


Gumi Urban Corporation recorded a high score, surpassing the national average of 85.2 points by 5.3 points, thereby proving its outstanding customer satisfaction among local public enterprises. This achievement is attributed to Gumi Urban Corporation’s continuous service improvements, reflecting citizens’ opinions.


To realize customer-oriented management, Gumi Urban Corporation actively incorporated citizens' voices into its policies through 'Service Improvement Idea Contests' and 'Resident Participation Living Labs.' In addition, the corporation has consistently carried out improvement activities to enhance facility and service quality, thereby increasing citizen satisfaction.


Furthermore, efforts were made to foster a culture of kindness within the organization by operating department-specific kindness training and CS learning clubs to strengthen all employees’ customer service capabilities.


Lee Jaewoong, President of Gumi Urban Corporation, stated, "This result is a valuable achievement directly evaluated by the citizens who use our services," and added, "It is the fruit of the efforts of all executives and employees who have worked hard to improve the quality of public services by listening to the voices of citizens."


He continued, "We will continue to do our best to provide high-quality public services that meet citizens’ expectations and establish ourselves as an exemplary public enterprise trusted and loved by the community."
