A public official in their 30s, affiliated with Buk-gu District Office, was found dead in a public parking lot in Gwangju, and the police are investigating the circumstances.

According to the Gwangju Bukbu Police Station, at around 2:40 p.m. on the 14th, official A was found dead inside a car parked on the fifth floor of a public parking lot in Jungheung-dong, Buk-gu.

The family filed a missing person report, stating that they could not reach A, and the police located A after conducting a search using location tracking. A suicide note left by A was found inside the vehicle, and there were reportedly no signs of external intrusion or evidence suggesting homicide.

The police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
