On the 15th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will see rain until dawn, after which it will gradually stop. Cloudy weather is expected to continue throughout the day.


According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the region will be affected by a low-pressure system moving eastward over the West Sea, but from the morning, it will gradually come under the influence of a high-pressure system.


The morning's lowest temperatures will be 4 degrees Celsius in Shinan, Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Muan, Jindo, Haenam, Boseong, and Goheung; 5 degrees in Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Hwasun, Naju, Yeongam, Mokpo, and Jangheung; 6 degrees in Suncheon, Gwangyang, Yeosu, Gangjin, and Wando; and 7 degrees in Gwangju.


The day's highest temperatures will be 17 degrees in Suncheon and Goheung; 16 degrees in Hwasun, Boseong, Gurye, and Gwangyang; 15 degrees in Gwangju, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Naju, Yeongam, Jangheung, Gangjin, and Wando; 14 degrees in Haenam; 13 degrees in Hampyeong and Yeosu; 12 degrees in Yeonggwang and Muan; 11 degrees in Jindo; 10 degrees in Mokpo; and 9 degrees in Shinan, which is 2 to 5 degrees lower than the previous day.


Wave heights will range from 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea, which are considered high. Both fine and ultrafine dust levels are expected to be 'moderate.'


A Gwangju Meteorological Administration official said, "Visibility will be short and roads may be slippery in areas where it is raining, increasing the risk of traffic accidents," and advised, "Please reduce speed and maintain a safe distance when driving."
