Haenam County to Support Logistics Costs for Eco-friendly Agricultural Products

Haenam County in Jeonnam Province (Governor Myung Hyun-gwan) announced on the 14th that it is accepting applications for the 2025 Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Logistics Cost Support Project.

The Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Logistics Cost Support Project provides support for vehicle transportation costs when distributing eco-friendly certified agricultural products produced within the county.

Eligible applicants are organizations, crop associations, and corporations that produce and distribute eco-friendly certified agricultural products in Haenam County and ship them to consumer destinations outside the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions using vehicles of 5 tons or more. However, rice among eco-friendly certified agricultural products is excluded, and individual applications are not accepted. Each vehicle of 5 tons or more is eligible for 200,000 KRW per trip, up to a maximum of 20 trips.

Applicants can submit the application form and required documents to the township office or the Distribution Support Division of their registered address each month. After reviewing the application documents, the subsidy will be paid immediately.

A county official stated, "We hope that the Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Logistics Cost Support Project, which is being promoted based on residents' suggestions and fully funded by the county budget, will vitalize direct transactions of eco-friendly agricultural products and contribute to increasing farmers' income."
