Imsil County to Hold On-Site Auction for Unused Agricultural Machinery from 16th to 18th

On-site Auction to Be Held at the Central Agricultural Machinery Rental Center

Imsil County in North Jeolla Province will hold an on-site auction for agricultural machinery that has exceeded its service life among those operated and managed at the Agricultural Machinery Rental Center.

According to the county on the 14th, a total of 64 machines of 17 types, including combines and cultivators, will be auctioned at the Central Agricultural Machinery Rental Center from the 16th to the 18th through an on-site auction format.

Eligibility for bidding is limited to farmers who have had their resident registration address in Imsil County for at least one year prior to the announcement date, with a maximum of two machines per person, and proxy bidding is not allowed.

Since 2022, the county has been promoting the auction sale of unused agricultural machinery, which has had positive effects such as reducing the management burden for farmers and encouraging the use of second-hand agricultural machinery.

County Governor Sim Min said, "The unused agricultural machinery consists of machines that have been designated as unused due to breakdowns or aging, so I hope participants will check the condition in advance before bidding," and added, "We will continue to actively promote projects that can support local farmers in their farming operations."
