Daejeon Information and Culture Agency Supports Development and Pilot Testing of New Services Based on Logistics Data

The Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the "Logistics Data-Based New Service Development and Demonstration Support Project."

This project aims to address issues in the local logistics market and enhance productivity by linking with regional industries. The Central Regional Postal Logistics Center of the Korea Post will serve as the demonstration site, and the results will later be expanded to the private sector.

The agency plans to support the development and demonstration of new services for a total of five projects: ▲Real-time detection service for electrical fires and equipment anomalies at logistics centers ▲Logistics platform utilizing local idle resources ▲Eco-friendly packaging information sharing and design platform: Re-Pack service ▲AI and digital technology-based risk prevention service for logistics workers ▲Open topic.

Each project will receive support of approximately 296 million KRW over about two years, including costs for developing and demonstrating logistics data-based new services.

For the open topic, applicants can freely propose subjects such as applying technologies from Daejeon's key industries like robotics and semiconductors to the logistics sector, or customized logistics services to improve productivity within the scope of Daejeon's regional industries.

Applications can be submitted by a single company or a consortium with a business item related to software in the region. Applicants may choose and apply for only one project, either from the designated topics (four types) or the open topic (one type).

Applications must be submitted through the agency's Project Management System (PMS) by 11:00 a.m. on May 12.
