Full-scale Support for Expansion of the Delivery Payment Linkage System Begins

The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 14th that it will officially begin support activities as the 'Delivery Payment Linkage Expansion Support Headquarters' to raise awareness of the delivery payment linkage system and ensure its establishment in the field.

To this end, it operates free-of-charge consultation and cost information systems on an ongoing basis, and conducts sector- and region-specific briefings, training, cost analysis, and consulting support linkage. Especially this year, it plans to produce and distribute promotional videos to raise awareness among more companies and the public.

In addition, regional briefings on the delivery payment linkage system will be held this month in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk and Gwangju-Jeonnam areas. These briefings will cover ▲guidance on the legal obligations of the delivery payment linkage system ▲training on calculating the proportion of major raw materials and consulting on concluding linkage agreements ▲introduction of government projects supporting linkage agreement conclusion.

Yang Chan-hoe, Head of the Innovation Growth Headquarters at the Korea Federation of SMEs, said, "As raw material prices are expected to rise due to recent sharp exchange rate increases, it is a time when we must put more effort into promoting how to utilize the delivery payment linkage system." He added, "This year, we plan to promote the system more actively to raise awareness. Through these regional briefings, we hope that more local SMEs and large companies will properly understand and utilize the linkage system."
