Tom Cruise to Visit Korea Next Month to Promote 'Mission Impossible 8'

Distributor Lotte Entertainment announced on the 14th that Hollywood actor Tom Cruise will visit Korea on the 8th of next month to promote "Mission: Impossible ? Final Reckoning." In a video released on the same day, Cruise said, "I plan to visit Seoul again in May with the cast," adding, "I am really looking forward to meeting you all."

This will be Cruise's twelfth visit to Korea. Since the release of the movie "Interview with the Vampire" in 1994, he has consistently met Korean fans up until the 2023 release of "Mission: Impossible ? Dead Reckoning." He has shown meticulous fan service by signing autographs and taking photos with fans individually, earning him the nickname "Kind Uncle Tom."

The upcoming "Mission: Impossible ? Final Reckoning," set to be released next month, is an action spy film depicting Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) pursuing a new weapon threatening humanity and a dark force. It will be the first film in the "Mission: Impossible" series to be invited to the non-competitive section of the Cannes International Film Festival for its premiere.
