This program provides vouchers to support various educational activities for children attending elementary, middle, and high schools from vulnerable households and is implemented every April.

Education Benefit Vouchers can be applied for by the education benefit recipient or their guardian on the Korea Student Aid Foundation website until the end of February next year. Users can select their card company and use either a credit card or a debit card.

KB Kookmin Card is currently cooperating in 13 public sector projects. Through social cooperation projects utilizing KB Kookmin Card’s payment infrastructure last year, about 1.36 million people received direct and indirect benefits exceeding 200 billion KRW. This year, it is expected that even more people will benefit.

In the care sector, including childbirth, childcare, and education, KB Kookmin Card participates in six projects such as the National Happiness Card, Seoul City’s transportation and postpartum care expense support for pregnant women, forest welfare service vouchers, education benefit vouchers, and Seoul City housekeeping service support.

In the win-win sector, it participates in projects such as the card-type Onnuri gift certificate program for small business owners, support for reasonably priced stores, Seoul Love gift certificate charging, and the Donghaeng Festival.

In the environmental field, it participates in seven projects including the Green Card, K-Pass, and postpaid climate companion card.

In particular, this year KB Kookmin Card participated as the sole operator in the "Forest Welfare Service Voucher Support Project" aimed at improving the quality of life for forest welfare marginalized groups and expanding forest welfare.

The Forest Welfare Service Voucher Support Project is operated by the Korea Forest Welfare Institute to eliminate disparities in forest welfare benefits for vulnerable groups. Since last year, KB Kookmin Card has been providing point accumulation and payment services as the sole operator.

Additionally, KB Kookmin Card will participate in all events held in March, May, September, and December this year as cashback events for users in the Donghaeng Festival project targeting traditional markets and affiliated stores, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It will also participate in a new card project that provides benefits when using traditional markets and plans to launch related products in the first half of the year.

A KB Kookmin Card official said, "We hope that participating in support projects across life cycles will help solve social issues even a little," and added, "We plan to make further efforts to ensure that the card company’s payment infrastructure and know-how can be utilized for socially vulnerable groups and the public sector."
