Carrying Out the Project for Four Consecutive Years Since 2022
Support Provided Through the 'OneClick' Logistics Platform
Hanjin is stepping up as a support force for domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling with exports to explore overseas markets.
On the 14th, Hanjin announced that it has been selected as the implementing agency for the '2025 Online Export Joint Logistics Project' conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC).
This project involves professional export logistics companies providing services and collaborating with MSS and SBC to reduce logistics costs for SMEs and assist their overseas expansion. Companies wishing to participate can apply through GoBiz Korea by the 23rd.
Hanjin has been carrying out this project for four consecutive years since 2022. Since last year, it has also been participating in the 'Global E-commerce Support Cooperation Group' that supports online exports of domestic SMEs.
The project aims to reduce logistics costs for SMEs currently exporting or planning to export through global direct-to-consumer (DTC) platforms, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in local sales. This year, support will be customized according to the company's sales scale and growth stage.
Hanjin supports ongoing discounts on local logistics costs in the United States and Japan based on its digital logistics platform 'OneClick,' which is linked with major global e-commerce platforms and delivery services, as well as its direct-to-consumer fulfillment bases. Benefits of up to 40% are offered in the U.S. and up to 70% in Japan. Using Hanjin Express pickup service to the domestic delivery center allows cost savings through consolidated packaging. With SBC support, e-commerce export declarations can also be processed free of charge.
A Hanjin representative said, "As a member of the Global E-commerce Support Cooperation Group, we are actively supporting promising SMEs in their overseas expansion," adding, "Based on our accumulated overseas logistics know-how and global logistics infrastructure, we will be a reliable partner for the global growth of SMEs."
