Korea Investment & Securities ALP Alumni Association, 'Love Lunchbox' Volunteer Activity

Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 14th that the 'Korea Investment ALP (Advanced Leader's Program for the next CEO)' alumni association conducted a volunteer activity sharing lunchboxes with love.

The alumni association, composed of ALP graduates, prepared 260 warm lunchboxes on the 12th and delivered them directly to elderly people in vulnerable groups near Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. ALP is a program by Korea Investment & Securities that provides various skills and human networks necessary for the next generation leaders to grow, targeting children of excellent customers at branch offices.

The alumni association, composed of Korean Investment & Securities ALP graduates, took a commemorative photo after completing a volunteer activity on the 12th, delivering 260 handmade lunch boxes to elderly people in vulnerable groups near Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.

Lee Seung-min, president of the 3rd alumni association who participated in the volunteer activity, said, "I hope the lunchboxes made with care will bring warm comfort to the elderly who are struggling in the chillier spring weather compared to previous years," adding, "We plan to continue meaningful activities together with the alumni to embrace the local community."

Since its introduction in 2020, Korea Investment ALP has regularly produced graduates every year. It provides a platform for exchange necessary for building human networks and offers customized education for prospective managers on leadership, finance, and management trends to participants selected through recommendations from branch offices nationwide.

Park Jae-hyun, head of the Individual Customer Group at Korea Investment & Securities, said, "We will actively support ALP participants to continuously interact through various programs after graduation and grow together as next-generation leaders contributing to society in many ways." This year, the 6th ALP course is scheduled to start with an orientation on the 24th and will proceed through a total of six sessions.

Meanwhile, Korea Investment & Securities established the 'Korea Investment Finance 101 Course' last year to provide university students with information and know-how about jobs in the financial sector. Applications will be accepted during the first half of the year.
