Expresses Regret Toward Yoo Seung-min's Decision Not to Run in the Primary

On the 13th, Na met with reporters at the former residence of President Rhee Syngman in Jongno-gu, Seoul, stating, "What Acting President Han is doing now is a very important task."

Regarding Oh Se-hoon, the Mayor of Seoul, who announced his withdrawal from the presidential race the day before, she said, "I spoke with him by phone yesterday," adding, "There are many policies we discussed together, such as Seoul Run, and I will actively accept and develop policies like 'Walking with the Vulnerable' proposed by Mayor Oh."

About former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min, who declared he would not participate in the primary, she expressed, "I find it regrettable," but argued, "If there is no clause to prevent reverse voting, the People Power Party candidate may not be chosen, and the candidate could be selected depending on the opposing camp."

Earlier, former lawmaker Yoo criticized the People Power Party's decision to include a reverse voting prevention clause in the public opinion survey for selecting the presidential candidate, calling it "a primary rule that insults the people."

Na said, "Former lawmaker Yoo would not want Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party to win either," adding, "We can never win by dividing ourselves."

On the same day, Na toured Ewha Jang with Cho Hye-ja, the daughter-in-law of former President Rhee, and former lawmaker Lee Young-il, who participated in the April 19 Revolution. She said, "When I declared my candidacy, I also said that the election must protect liberal democracy," adding, "Former President Rhee introduced liberal democracy to Korea during harsh times, and that created today's Republic of Korea."
