5-Under-Par Surge in Final Round of iM Financial Open
First Career Victory Since 2022 Debut
Bang Sinshil and Park Jooyoung Share Second Place, Lee Gayoung Finishes Fourth

Kim Minju claimed her first career victory.


On the 13th, at the iM Financial Open (total prize money 1 billion KRW), the third event of the KLPGA Tour season held at Golfzon County Seonsan in Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk (par 72, 6,683 yards), she shot a 5-under-par 67 in the final round to secure a 3-stroke victory with a total score of 15-under-par 273. This marked her first win in 95 tournaments since debuting on the KLPGA Tour in 2022. The winner's prize money was 180 million KRW.

Kim Minju enjoyed the joy of her first victory despite strong winds exceeding 9 m/s. Starting from 5th place, 2 strokes behind, she recorded six birdies and one bogey. After her first birdie on the 1st hole (par 4), she made consecutive birdies on the 6th and 7th holes and again on the 9th and 10th holes, taking the top spot on the leaderboard. Although she faltered briefly with the only bogey on the 17th hole (par 3), she celebrated her victory with a birdie on the final 18th hole (par 5).


Bang Sinshil and Park Jooyoung tied for 2nd place (12-under-par 276), while Lee Gayoung, Ji Hansol, and Li Shuying (China) tied for 4th place (9-under-par 279). Lee Yewon, who won last week’s Doosan Construction We’ve Championship, the domestic opener for the 2025 KLPGA Tour season, finished 7th (8-under-par 280). Hwang Yumin tied for 20th place (2-under-par 286), Park Jiyoung tied for 33rd (even par 288), and Park Hyunkyung tied for 37th (1-over-par 289).
