Recruitment of Participants for the First Half of the 2025 D-Testbed for Four Weeks
A Testing Ground for Innovative Fintech Ideas
On the 13th, the Financial Services Commission announced that it will recruit participants for the first half of the '2025 D-Testbed' over a four-week period from the 14th to the 9th of next month.
The D-Testbed project provides a testing ground (Testbed) for individuals, teams, and companies with innovative fintech ideas to practically test financial service-related challenges.
Participants can implement their ideas and verify results using actual datasets and a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. Support is provided for the testing and commercialization process of fintech ideas through expert mentoring in various fields such as statistical analysis, legal regulations, and patents.
Following last year, participants will be recruited twice this year in the first and second halves, and an offline analysis environment available at all times will be separately provided outside the application period. Participants who apply for fintech support projects at the Fintech Support Center will receive additional points during evaluation.
This year, a special AI track has been newly established to respond to the rapidly increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) development. Teams selected for this track will receive concentrated support with high-performance hardware (GPU). Using this, teams can attempt AI development at a faster pace.
Additionally, whereas previously only data provided within the D-Testbed environment could be used, from this year, if participating teams provide corporate data they have collected and possess to the Credit Information Agency, the agency will combine it with corporate credit information it manages internally and provide it. Through this, teams will be able to utilize their own data within the D-Testbed analysis environment, expanding the range of data available for testing.
Participants in the first half will implement and verify their ideas using combined data provided over a total of 14 weeks from May to August, and will ultimately submit a final report. At the end of the year, after evaluating the performance of all participants from both halves, six outstanding teams for the 2025 D-Testbed will be selected and awarded.
Detailed information about applying for the first half of the 2025 D-Testbed can be found on the D-Testbed portal.
