KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement worth 1 trillion won for 'win-win cooperation and joint development' with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI).

The signing ceremony held on the 11th at KB Kookmin Bank's new building in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, was attended by KAI President Kang Gu-young, KB Kookmin Bank President Lee Hwan-joo, and officials from both organizations.
This agreement was established to strengthen competitiveness in the aerospace sector, a national key industry, support global market entry, and build a mutual cooperation system between the two organizations.
According to the agreement, KB Kookmin Bank will provide financial support of up to 1 trillion won to KAI. It plans to offer financial solutions for projects undertaken by KAI, including future business investment support, export finance, and working capital loans related to export-import and facility investments. Through win-win financial support targeting KAI’s partner companies, it will also practice cooperative finance with small and medium-sized enterprises.
KAI President Kang Gu-young stated, "The aerospace industry requires high technology and long-term investment, so stable financial support is very important. We expect that this agreement will further strengthen the foundation for future business investment and global market expansion."
KB Kookmin Bank President Lee Hwan-joo said, "I hope that today’s agreement will serve as a cornerstone not only for financial support but also for enhancing the competitiveness of Korea’s aerospace industry and achieving sustainable growth together."
