"Politicians Also Need the Courage to Stop"
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon announced that he will not run in the presidential election.
On the 12th, Mayor Oh held a press conference at the People Power Party headquarters in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, stating, "To normalize the abnormal, I will serve as a catalyst in a supporting role," revealing his decision.

He said, "Drive is an important virtue for politicians, but the courage to stop when necessary is also required."
Mayor Oh continued, "I am giving up the opportunity to run, but I have only one request for the party and the candidates," adding, "I hope they set 'renewed growth' along with 'solidarity with the vulnerable' as the core agenda of the presidential election."
