at Gumi National Industrial Complex
The Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Gumi City held the "Breakfast for Industrial Workers" event on the morning of the 11th, providing free breakfast to workers at three major locations within the Gumi National Industrial Complex.
Kim Jangho, mayor of Gumi, is handing breakfast to industrial workers commuting to the 1st Industrial Complex on the morning of the 11th.
Now in its third year, this event was organized to express gratitude for the hard work of workers who are the driving force behind the region's industrial development, and to offer a small but meaningful encouragement as they head to work. A total of 3,000 servings of sandwich and beverage sets were provided during the event.
The event took place simultaneously from 7:30 a.m. at three locations: across from Soonchunhyang Hospital in the 1st Industrial Complex, in front of the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and at the intersection in front of the Electronics and Information Technology Institute in the 4th Industrial Complex.
Workers on their way to work expressed their gratitude as they received a warm breakfast.
Kim Jangho, Mayor of Gumi, said, "I would like to thank all the workers who support our industrial sites. I hope this meal helps you start your day with energy. We will continue our efforts to make Gumi a city where workers are happy."
Yoon Jaeho, Chairman of the Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized, "I sincerely thank the workers, who are the backbone of Gumi's economy and the driving force of our industry. The Chamber of Commerce will continue to take the lead in creating an environment where both companies and workers can thrive together."
'Breakfast for Industrial Workers' is a joint project between Gumi City and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry that began in 2023, and has become a signature annual event fostering a spirit of mutual growth within the Gumi Industrial Complex.
