The police have conducted a search and seizure in connection with the fatal accident involving a falling structure at Changwon NC Park in Masanhoewon-gu, Changwon, Gyeongnam, which occurred last month.
The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency mobilized about 30 investigators and executed search and seizure warrants at Changwon City Hall, Changwon Facilities Corporation, and the NC Dinos club office from 10 a.m. to about 4:15 p.m. on the 11th.

Previously, at around 5:20 p.m. on the 29th of last month, during a professional baseball game, a structure installed on the outer wall near the third base concession stand at NC Park fell down.
As a result of the accident, three women who were standing in line in front of the concession stand were injured, and among them, a woman in her twenties, identified as Ms. A, suffered severe head and other injuries. She was transported to the hospital for treatment but died two days later.
The deceased woman's teenage younger sister, Ms. B, is being treated for a fractured collarbone, and another woman reportedly suffered a leg injury.
The fallen structure was identified as a "louver," an aluminum exterior finishing material measuring 2.6 meters in length, 40 centimeters in width, and weighing about 60 kilograms.

The police, who recently conducted a joint inspection at the scene, plan to use the seized materials to determine the exact cause of the accident and continue their investigation into occupational negligence and violations of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act against those involved.
