Accordingly, a total of 77 public health doctors will be working in Incheon this year, including the existing 28. The city prioritizes deployment to island areas with a high elderly population ratio and low medical accessibility to improve the efficiency of public health doctor operations.

An official from Incheon City stated, "The role of public health doctors is very important for residents in medically vulnerable areas to access essential medical services," adding, "We will strive to improve residents' health by deploying personnel appropriately."
