"Respecting the Voices of Fellow Students" ... Gyeongnam University Holds Inauguration Ceremony for 57th 'Gieok' Student Council

"We Will Become a Student Council Where Everyone is the Main Character"

The 57th "Gieok" Student Council of Kyungnam University held its inauguration ceremony at the Simyeon Hall in Hanmami Future Hall, pledging to become a student council where everyone is the main character.

The inauguration ceremony, held on the 9th, was attended by Hong Jeonghyo, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Ko Hoseok, Vice President for External Affairs; Yang Youngja, Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences; Kim Yongseong, Dean of the College of Health and Welfare; Kim Jeonghee, Dean of the College of Education; Heo Sooncheol, Dean of the College of Public Human Resources; Jeong Eunsang, Dean of the College of Creative Convergence; Kim Changyun, Dean of Student Affairs; as well as Lee Youngseop, President of the Student Council, executive members of student self-governing organizations, and approximately 350 others.


Hong Jeonghyo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, said in his congratulatory speech, "I ask that the officially launched 57th 'Gieok' Student Council and the student self-governing organizations of each college serve as a channel for communication for students and work hard for the development of our university and the improvement of campus life for fellow students."


Lee Youngseop, President of the Student Council, added, "On our journey ahead, we will strive to become a memorable student council for our fellow students by communicating, empathizing, and taking action, so that everyone can enjoy their campus life."
