Kick-off for Establishing an Information Strategy Plan for Cloud-Native Construction
Nonsan City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 11th that it held a kick-off briefing for the "Information Strategy Plan (ISP) Establishment Project for Cloud-Native Construction" on the 10th, attended by 65 people including the Chungnam Provincial Information Officer and officials from the provincial and city governments.
This project is a key strategy for the digital transformation of Nonsan City, aiming to restructure its information systems based on cloud technology.
Cloud technology allows data to be stored and managed over the internet, enabling the efficient processing of large-scale data and the provision of stable services without the need for physical equipment.
In particular, due to advantages such as real-time data processing, system flexibility, enhanced security, and resource savings, cloud technology is being recognized as an essential digital innovation in the public sector.
Through this project, the city plans to establish a mid- to long-term roadmap and detailed strategies for cloud transition, and to gradually build cloud infrastructure to promote a full-scale service transformation.
Additionally, the city intends to strengthen cooperation with private sector experts in order to improve services that citizens can experience and to realize innovative digital administration.
A city official stated, "This project is not just a technical transition, but an important foundation for improving the quality of life for citizens and providing efficient administrative services," adding, "We will do our best to lay the groundwork for building a digital platform city so that Nonsan City can leap forward as a leading smart city."
