Korea Investment Value Asset Management, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, announced on the 11th that it will launch the 'Korea Value Monthly Global Dividend Income Fund.'
The fund invests more than 90% in the master fund, 'Korea Value Global Dividend Income Fund.' The Korea Value Global Dividend Income Fund primarily invests in overseas and domestic stocks. It is a fund that invests in income assets and dividend growth stocks to generate stable dividend income while pursuing long-term capital gains. The Korea Value Monthly Global Dividend Income Fund aims to pay a dividend of 3.5 KRW per 1,000 units monthly, which corresponds to an annual yield of about 4.2%. According to a product simulation by Korea Investment Value Asset Management, steady capital gains are expected annually even after dividend payments.
Jung Shin-wook, senior manager at Korea Investment Value Asset Management in charge of managing the fund, said, "In the current stock market situation, a balanced approach is necessary rather than pursuing excessive stability or profitability," adding, "We plan to gradually increase the proportion of stocks whose prices have fallen excessively in the recent downturn."
The fund is exclusively sold through Korea Investment & Securities. The fund was established on the 9th, and the first dividend record date is the 20th of next month. The confirmed dividend will be paid on the 26th of next month.
