Hyundai Elevator Wins Red Dot Design Award Main Prize

Hyundai Elevator announced on the 11th that it won the 'Main Prize' in the product category at the German 'Red Dot Design Award 2025.'

The awarded product is the 'Smart Hall Button,' which combines a leg sensor and artificial intelligence (AI) voice recognition function, allowing users to select their destination floor without touching the button. The AI voice function is activated when a person moves their foot near the button.

It attracted attention for significantly improving user accessibility, as it can be used without hands by people with disabilities, the elderly, and those carrying luggage.

A Hyundai Elevator official said, "The Smart Hall Button has already completed verification and is scheduled for full-scale sales starting in May," adding, "We will continue to develop solutions and products that encompass not only advanced technology but also design and user experience."
