The Insper Award is Korea's first paper design competition, hosted by Hansol Paper since 2018. Insper is the flagship brand of Hansol Paper's fancy paper line, meaning 'Inspiring Paper' for designers. This year's awards ceremony was held at the RYSE Autograph Collection Hotel in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

The Insper Award is divided into a general category for professionals such as those in printing, publishing, and planning, or freelance designers, and a student category for undergraduate and graduate students in design-related fields nationwide. Participants submit design products made of paper, including books, packaging, and stationery (accessories, household items, and writing materials).

At the ceremony, a total of 21 works received awards, including the highest honor, the Insper Award, as well as the Black Paper Award, Golden Paper Award, Young Designer Award, Special Award, and Sustainability Award. The total prize money amounts to 21 million KRW, with the top prize, the Insper Award, granting 10 million KRW for the general category and 5 million KRW for the student category. The top five works will also receive support for entry fees to the Red Dot Award, one of the world's top three design competitions. Additionally, to provide experience using Insper products, Insper products worth a total of 100 million KRW will be supported.

After the awards ceremony, a talk concert was held under the theme 'Design of Empathy Communicating with the World and Paper.' Attendees included Lee Sang-min, chairman of the Insper Award and CEO of Brand & Company; Na Geon, professor at Hongik University Graduate School of International Design; and Yoo Jung-ah, former KBS announcer, who shared discussions on design, empathy, and communication.

Hansung-rok, CEO of Hansol Paper, said, "The Insper Award has seen a steady increase in the number of submissions each year, reflecting growing interest. We will continue to discover young and promising designers and develop the award into a leading platform that drives domestic paper design trends."
