The Hoengseong-gun Youth Challenge Support Project, now in its third year, provides employment support, entrepreneurship, self-development, and confidence recovery programs to help young job seekers overcome social and economic difficulties. Participating youths receive support to carve their own paths through career counseling and mentoring, capacity-building education, and community activities, three times a week for four hours each day.

Additionally, participants who meet certain requirements can receive incentives. Even after completing the program, participants can continue to receive linked support from Hoengseong-gun through job fairs and career counseling.

Youths aged 18 to 45 who have no employment history for more than six months and do not have a business registration are eligible to participate. Applications can be submitted online (search for Hoengseong-gun Youth Challenge Support Project and apply via QR code) or by phone.

Choi Seong-hee, Director of the Economic Policy Division of Hoengseong-gun, said, “We hope that through this second round of recruitment, local youths will regain new opportunities and confidence,” adding, “We will spare no effort to support more substantial programs so that young people can proudly pursue their dreams in the region.”
